CUFE-9

The CUFE-9 width control unit and the FE-9 width gauge form a self-sufficient width control system and are therefore ideal for upgrading existing lines. High material savings with a low investment also ensure a quick return on investment. The touch display of the CUFE-9 control unit visualizes the current horizontal width, the width setpoint, the width deviations and the width trend.

An intuitive operating concept guarantees that the width control is ready as quickly as possible, while the integrated web server enables remote control, width trend visualization, parameterization and system diagnostics via a web browser.

Lines with IBC

Lines with internal bubble cooling (IBC) are controlled by adjustment of the calibration basket‘s position to the target width.

Non-IBC lines with fixed or oscillating dies

The Tubair, which is simply connected to the CUFE-9 control unit, is available for this application as an option. It inflates or deflates the bubble to keep the bubble diameter constant.

Lines with height-adjustment of haul-off

On blown film systems with a height-adjustable haul-off, the width can be regulated by adjusting the height. This type of width control is suitable for small film bubbles and for lines with multiple dies for the production of shrink film.
