FE-9
A width measurement FE-9 directly after the haul-off provides an exact measurement of the layflat width and, in combination with the dosing system and take-off control, an accurate calculation of the average film thickness.
The two edges of the film are detected using two infrared time-of-flight sensors. This innovative sensor technology guarantees high-precision, contactless edge detection of highly transparent all the way to black colored films.
The FE-9 Width Gauge and the CUFE-9 Layflat Control in combination form a self-sufficient width control system and are therefore ideal for upgrading existing blown film lines.
Application
- Non-contact width measurement and monitoring for blown film and cast film lines
Special Features
- The measuring bar can easily be integrated into the line control system
- In combination with the CUFE-9 control panel, it can be used to retrofit existing lines with fixed or rotating die
Technology
- Edge detection using infrared time-of-flight sensors
