KCF-700 Rotomat KT 3G

The KCF-700 Rotomat KT 3G is a capacitive thickness sensor mounted on a oscillating scanner with a bending arm. The largely contactless thickness measurement is based on an air cushion between the sensor surface and the film.

Application
  • Largely contactless thickness measurement on the cylindrical film bubble
  • Suitable for films made of PE, PP and comparable materials
  • For tacky films (e.g., containing EVA or metallocenes) with sensitive outer layers
  • Conditionally suitable for barrier films with a maximum of 5% PA, EVOH and comparable materials
