K-300 Rotomat KT 3G
The K-300 Rotomat KT 3G measuring device is a capacitive thickness sensor mounted on a oscillating scanner with a bending arm. The shortest profile detection time is only 36 seconds, enabling quick improvement of the thickness profile. The measuring head of the K-300 can be replaced very easily and is available with a chrome or plasma-coated surface.
Application
- Contact thickness measurement on the cylindrical film bubble
- Suitable for films made of PE, PP and comparable materials
- For non or slightly tacky films with non-sensitive outer layers
- Conditionally suitable for barrier films with a maximum of 5% PA, EVOH and comparable materials
Special Features
- Stabilizing effect on a fluctuating film bubble. Advantageous on certain lines for the production of heavy-duty bags (FFS process) or very thin HD films (long-neck bubbles).
- Easily replaceable sensors with chrome or plasma-coated surfaces
- Particularly suitable for retrofitting thickness gauges on existing lines
- Available as a continuously rotating scanner for faster thickness profiling and longer lifetime of wear and tear parts (Unique feature)
